The raison de etre of ASA Productions & Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. is to give a great idea the execution it deserves. Vikram Bhatt is
at the fore on the creative and business front. With Vikram Bhatt who has directed hit films such as Ghulam, Raaz and 1920, ASA’s  journey in the entertainment industry began long before it was established in 2006.

The commercial and financial might of ASA coupled with the cinema experience of Vikram Bhatt was to bring together a company of unique and diverse vision. ASA had already brought to the screen the critically acclaimed “Mumbai Salsa” and produced “1920” directed by Vikram Bhatt himself. It has 7 films in the pipeline for the next two years. One is releasing in Aug 2009 and is titled ‘Phhir’.

ASA is also strongly and surely becoming a part of exhibition and distribution. Not to mention the world of television. With the film “Mutthirai” ASA makes its entry into the world of Tamil cinema. “Mutthirai” is planned as a Tamil-Hindi bilingual.

ASA produces its music under its own label –ASA Music and has also launched a portal called www.aslibaat.com in association with famous journalist and director Khalid Mohammed.

VISION JEEVA STUDIOS

Cinematographer-Director Jeeva needs no introduction.

In his illustrious career, he was known as much for his signature cinematographic style as for his light-hearted romantic entertainers. He worked with the biggest names in the Indian film industry on both sides of the Vindhyas while also introducing several newcomers who went on to make a name for themselves.

He lived and breathed cinema and had grand celluloid plans for the future. But that was not to be. A year ago, in the midst of making a film, he was taken away from us. But a man's dreams can live on. Today, we are proud to announce the launch of Vision Jeeva Studios, a production house started with the aim of perpetuating Jeeva's legacy by making films of the kind that he might have made.

Vision Jeeva Studios is the brainchild of Jeeva's wife, Anees Tanveer. As a production house, Vision Jeeva believes its primary strength is the ability to seamlessly put together a project, whether big or small, whether art house or commercial, with the
biggest of names or with undiscovered talent, from concept to first copy.

With a topnotch creative team at its disposal, Vision Jeeva has also developed a treasure trove of scripts that can be turned into commercially viable films ideal for family viewing.

Vision Jeeva's maiden venture 'Mutthiraii' is a fast-paced action comedy with a young cast and crew, and supported by some of Tamil cinema's best-known names. The film is directed by the talented youngster Srinath, a longtime assistant of Jeeva's, who has also worked with directors like Kadhir and A Venkatesh.

The story and screenplay are by Anees Tanveer, the cinematographer is Saleem, and the other technicians are
Yuvan Shankar Raja, Antony, Rajeevan, Siddharth and Chaitanya Rao. The cast is headed by Nitin Satyaa, Daniel Balaji,
Manjari and Lakshmi Rai. 'Muthirhai' is being made in collaboration with ASA Films of Mumbai, and also marks their entry into South Indian films.
